Dear ATEA members,

The Harry Bowman family is most appreciative of all the ATEA tributes for Harry that were posted online, the cards and calls received, the personal visits with Harry's ATEA colleagues and the lovely floral arrangement.  All of these have provided us with memories that will be treasured as we hope your memories of Harry will be treasured by you.  Thank you for your kindness and thoughtfulness especially affording him the honor of dedicating the ATEA  2019 National Conference to him.  You were more than colleagues; you were his friends.

Memory of Trustee Dr. Harry Bowman

Dr. Harry Bowman  1938-2018

Dr. Bowman was a long term Board Member and recipient of the Jean Koch Outstanding Technical Education Achievement Award in 2016.  He generously shared his expertise and scholarship with all.  He was the ATEA "Dean" of our Bylaws and Procedures, served on the Awards Committee and  attended board meetings held concurrently with  national and regional conferences, no matter the distance or traveling challenges.  He will be missed by all of is present and past ATEA Board of Trustee Members.  We were blessed with his presence.  Our deepest sympathy to his beloved wife, Debbie Bowman family and to those who served with him on the ATEA Board.
