Member Spotlight Linn State Technical College Missouri

 

Linn State Technical College is a member of a consortia of Missouri colleges that

received the MoHealthWINS $20 million dollar federally funded trade act grant.

Linn State Technical College will use their portion of these funds to train and retrain

participants to be employed in the healthcare field focusing on IT, Biomed, and

Maintenance.

 

Jefferson College, Hillsboro Missouri, is also a recipient and was featured in the ATEA Member Spotlight Jefferson College MOHealthWINS   MOHealthWINS Project Director Dawn Busick will be the keynote speaker at the Region 3 Conference in St. Louis October 18-19.2012 Region 3 Conference St. Louis MO Oct.18-19

MOHealthWINS targets those who are underemployed, unemployed, low-skilled,

or Trade Act program participants.  This grant will allow outstanding technical educational institutions such as Linn State Technical College to develop innovative and accelerated programs of study;  online, hybrid, and traditional, to meet future

workforce needs in the healthcare industry.
